Tusheti & Khevsureti are located north-east of the main ridge of the Great Caucasus and border with Dagestan and Chechnya. Tusheti houses the unique monuments of cultural heritage, remains of ancient villages, folk crafts, and everyday life items. The journey takes you through the Greater Caucasus Mountains, characterized by alpine meadows, snow-covered peaks, pine trees, and medieval villages.

– Crossing the main Caucasus Ridge – Abano pass at the elevation 2926 M

– Explore surroundings in Omalo and enjoy beautiful views of Chagma valley, visit the Keselo fortress and ethnographical museum if Tusheti

– Dinner with National dishes and Georgian wine or chacha

– Explore villages: Dartlo and Girevi

– Cross the Atsunta pass (3431 M) from the top spectacular views of the surrounding summits including the deep canyons of Khevsureti province where we will be trekking in the next days. Descend to our campsite at 2400 M

– Explore the most famous and impressive medieval fortress Mutso, with its mighty towers standing proudly in Arguni river valley for 1200 years

– Sightseeing around Shatili complex

– Crossing Datvijvari pass (2676 M)
